PETER MCNAMEE:  Director/Producer/Writer

Born in Blackburn, Lancashire Peter immigrated to Canada in 1987. He is an independent producer/director/writer with over 16 years of commercial television production, advertising and communications experience. Prior to his television career he was in the music business in the UK where he worked as a recording engineer/producer for some of the biggest names in the British and European music industry. Let Him Be is his first feature film which he co-wrote, produced and directed.


MARTIN KATZ:  Producer

Martin is President and founder of Prospero Pictures, a Toronto-based film production and finance company specializing in international co-productions. Prospero Pictures is a one-stop world-wide productions services and financing boutique.  Based in Toronto, Prospero Pictures provides consulting and executive producing expertise on the structuring, financing and production of international, and particularly European, co-productions. Prospero Pictures has over twenty years’ experience in treaty co-production and financing, including all aspects of optimizing and financing soft money and pre-sales.

In addition, Prospero Pictures is a Canadian production company, offering one-stop financing of Canadian film and television productions and treaty co-productions. Prospero Pictures is a member of the International Film Collective. Based in Monaco, IFC provides one-stop advice and support to international treaty co-productions in multiple jurisdictions.

Martin has a twenty-year history in all aspects of media production and finance. Prior to founding Prospero Pictures, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Grosvenor Park Film Financing Corporation. Previously, he served as Executive Producer at The Microsoft Network, and as a Producer and Executive Producer at Alliance Atlantis. He has also served as Head of Business Affairs at CBC Television.

Martin’s feature film credits include Terry George’s Hotel Rwanda, which won the Peoples Choice Award at the TIFF – Frank E. Flowers’ Haven, both premiering at the 29th Toronto International Film Festival, Bronwyn Hughes’ Stander, Philip Saville’s The Gospel of John, David Cronenberg’s Spider and Michael Winterbottom’s The Claim.  He is currently co-producing a film with David Furnish for Elton John’s Rocket pictures.


CAROL WRIGHT: Producer

Carol has over 20 years proven experience in entertainment marketing, promotion and international sales. She has worked as a senior marketing and promotion executive for three of the world’s largest multi-national record companies - Island Records (Polygram), BMG International, and Universal Music where she conceived, designed and implemented the promotion and marketing strategies for such diverse acts as U2, Tom Waits, Whitney Houston, and Pavarotti to name but a few.


She is a respected industry professional with vast international marketing and promotion experience combined with in depth cultural knowledge of European, Latin American and North American markets. She has been the executive producer of a number of award winning music videos and has been acclaimed on many occasions for her marketing achievements in the international entertainment business.
